Coffee Martini

This coffee martini is so creamy and delicious! My husband and I found Amarula over the holidays and love it. Amarula is a cream liqueur from South Africa. I know liqueur can be intimidating when determining if they are gluten free, but I’m happy to say that Amarula is naturally gluten free and made of cream, sugar and fruit. They very kindly responded to my DM on Instagram to confirm.

If you love a good coffee martini, store leftover coffee in a mason jar and keep it in the fridge for such occasions. I think the martini tastes best with a strong dark roast.

When you are making the martini, you will notice the last step is to pour Amarula on top. No need to stir. Trust me, it will taste amazing!

Coffee Martini

Ingredients

  • 1 ice cube
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 2 oz leftover strong coffee (cold)
  • 1 oz Amarula
  • Splash of simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Add vodka, coffee, simple syrup and ice to a martini shaker and shake until well chilled
  2. Pour in a martini glass and top with Amarula
  3. Sip and feel the stress slip away!
